Ajax Systems, a Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of professional security systems, launched its first factory abroad. It is located in Istanbul, Turkey. On October 1st, 2022, the factory produced its first Ajax device labeled “Made in Turkey. Designed in Ukraine”.

The Turkish facility with an area of 8,300 m² manufactures the full range of Ajax devices, duplicating the current production in Ukraine. The total capacity of the factory is 3.2 mln devices per year.

Development of Ajax products

Aleksandr Konotopskyi, CEO of Ajax Systems, said “Opening the new factory in Istanbul is a strategic step aimed at the diversification of production capacities planned by the company. We chose Turkey based on a combination of factors: presence of professionals in the production field, infrastructure, conditions of the free economic zone, tax level, quality of contractors, and proximity to our main markets.”

He adds, “We believe that diversity of talents and cultures creates the best products and solutions. Therefore, we always focus on local teams. I am confident that the new production will strengthen the development of Ajax products and accelerate the entry into new markets.”

Expanding the R&D team

More than 100 people already work at the factory in Turkey. They plan to hire at least 400 people. The launch of new production facilities abroad was in the company’s plans long before the war. This is a step in the logical continuation of production scaling.

Ajax Systems has fully restored the existing manufacturing and product development in Ukraine, actively hiring specialists for the factory and expanding the R&D team. These capacities are still located in Ukraine. Also, the company has its own logistics hub in Poland and develops local teams in strategic markets of Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, France, UAE, South Africa, and other countries.
