Airzone Control, a provider of HVAC solutions for zoning, automation, and smart control announces a new integration with Network Thermostat (NetX), a provider of smart thermostats for institutional, commercial, and industrial markets.
The integration between Airzone and NetX enables bi-directional communication between NetX thermostats and the Inverter/VRF HVAC units common in new construction and modern luxury homes.
Bridging the Divide
NetX has a 30-year legacy of supplying on-site and remote HVAC control solutions focused on flexible control and efficiency. As they prepared to bring their powerful line of products to the luxury smart home market, however, they encountered the HVAC/IT gap.
Communication protocol mismatch prevents two-way communication between Inverter/VRF units and third-party controllers such as smart thermostats. When paired with a smart device, the Inverter/VRF HVAC unit downgrades to single-speed operation, reducing unit efficiency and temperature set point precision.

Airzone’s Aidoo Pro controller provides a unique solution to this problem.
Using an exclusive library of HVAC manufacturer protocols, Aidoo Pro acts as a translation layer between Inverter/VRF HVAC units and building automation, home automation, and smart home devices, enabling full bi-directional communication.
60% energy savings
Using Aidoo Pro, an Inverter/VRF system with a NetX Thermostat can achieve energy savings of up to 60 percent.
“Luxury homeowners expect flawless performance from all of their systems,” says Jerry Drew, CEO of NetX. “Integration with Aidoo Pro will allow us to bring NetX solutions to this exacting clientele, no matter what style of HVAC unit they prefer.”
Reliable Connection, Versatile Control
Users and integration professionals can remotely monitor and manage the system
Aidoo Pro integrates with NetX X Series thermostats via an ultra-reliable wired Modbus 485 integration. NetX is also compatible with a growing list of home automation drivers, including AMX, Crestron, Control4, ELAN, and RTI.
Users and integration professionals can remotely monitor and manage the system via either the Airzone Cloud app or the Network Thermostat CloudConnect™ platform.
