Environmental responsibility is at the very core of everything they do at Airedale. They invest heavily in research and development, and commit to constant improvement when it comes to the refrigerants that they use in their equipment.

The result of many years of research and development, the Azure R32 range was launched earlier this year. The R32 units have been specifically developed for use with next generation R32 refrigerant; with both a low GWP and zero ODP, it has a significantly lower impact on the environment.

Combatting global warming

The range is really gaining traction at this point, and they’re pleased to announce that some of the first R32 chillers have recently been successfully installed. As refrigerants with high global warming potential (GWP) are phased out, the R&D team works hard to develop products that work with more environmentally friendly refrigerants, all the while maintaining the high quality and levels of performance that Airedale are known for.

They know that the industry is a key battleground when it comes to combatting global warming and climate change. As they start the new decade, they will uphold the commitment to innovation, and work towards a greener, more sustainable future for all.
