Adcock has a long working relationship with Sky UK Ltd and takes great pride in being involved in some of their very important projects.

It was contracted to provide an additional water chiller for Sky’s new data center office located in the heart of Leeds. The site had very strict noise restrictions due to local adjacent properties, this meant a standard chiller could not be fitted. However, for experienced designers and engineers, this wasn’t a barrier.

Adcock designed and fitted a condenserless chiller in an acoustic housing, along with an oversized slow-fan condenser mounted above, to meet planning restrictions. It selected Daikin EWLD265 screw compressor condenserless chiller along with Thermokey low noise condenser for this application. As Daikin D1+ Premium Partner, the clients can depend on a level of service and support that’s unique in the industry.
