Adcock now finds themselves in a situation where a NO DEAL Brexit is a real possibility and although still not the likely outcome, Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Limited is putting into place measures to counteract the impact of this and to ensure a continued reliable supply of their services after October 31st 2019.

Critical spares and products

The key actions they are currently taking are detailed below:

  • They have identified fast moving and critical spares and products and have increased their stock levels of these items and have been in discussion with the relevant suppliers to ensure continuity.
  • For project work, their team has been reviewing all current orders with a view to obtaining early clarification of specifications and / or quantities to ensure these are ordered ahead of time.
  • They are continuing to review the political landscape, consult with customers and industry peers as the best way to mitigate the negative effects of Brexit.
  • They have reviewed and have a robust Business Continuity Plan to mitigate any shortages or travel disruption caused by a No Deal Brexit.
