Build UK and CECA have embarked on delivering a new Common Assessment Standard which will improve efficiency in the construction pre-qualification (PQ) process.

The Common Assessment Standard comprises an industry-agreed question set based on existing PQ questionnaires, including PAS 91, and corresponding assessment standards.

The initiative is being overseen by an Interim Cross-Industry Body consisting of experts from organizations across the sector, including public and private sector clients, contractors, and trade associations.

Gold Membership

As a Gold Member of Constructionline, Adcock goes through a number of further validation checks, using an enhanced prequalification questionnaire that goes beyond PAS91.

The company’s credentials are assessed for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence, and anti-bribery and corruption policies.

Some of these policies form part of the Cabinet Office Selection Questionnaire, which the public sector is expected to comply with.

Health And Safety Process

As well as enhanced prequalification, Adcock assessed to SSIP by a team of Acclaim NEBOSH qualified experts, giving the clients the peace of mind that the Health and Safety processes have been rigorously reviewed by relevant Health & Safety experts.
