ABB has announced the launch of its new CP-S.1 range of primary switch mode 24 V DC power supplies that combines efficiency and reliability, with an unrivaled power-to-space ratio.
With an efficiency of up to 94 percent, the CP-S.1 24/40.0 power supply is able to generate a 1.4 ton CO2 saving over a typical lifetime of ten years, when compared to a device with 92 percent efficiency. This is equivalent to the same amount of CO2 required to charge 160,000 smartphones.

CP-S.1 range’s extra power reserve functionality provides additional power of up to 150 percent for five seconds, enabling heavy loads to be started reliably. The certified AC and DC input voltage range is suitable for worldwide installation and has extensive global approvals.
