Johnson Controls' Asia Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai: a Beacon of Smart and Sustainable Design

Johnson Controls’ Asia Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai won the AD100 Award, conferred by the international home and living magazine Architectural Digest, in 2019 for the Most Popular Public Architecture in China.

Designed by Gensler, the building facilitates collaboration, improves talent retention, and promotes employee well-being. In addition, the building is the first in China to achieve (IFC) World Bank Group – International Financial Corporation Group’s EDGE Certification, U.S Green Building Council’s LEED Platinum Certification, and the China Green Building Design Label Three-Star Certification all at once.
