VAL-U-LOK Connectors
Technical Specification
- Make: TE Connectivity
- Model code: VAL-U-LOK Connectors
- Available Configurations: Wire-to-Wire, Wire-to-Board, Wire-to-Panel
- Centerline / Pitch: 4.2 mm
- Wire Size: 26-16 AWG
The VAL-U-LOK product line features 4.20mm pitch wire-to-wire, wire-to-board, and panel mount connectors developed to help achieve manufacturing savings without sacrificing performance. Standard VAL-U-LOK connectors have a 9A maximum current rating intended for low power applications, including small appliances and lighting. For higher power systems, such as industrial equipment and major home appliances, TE offers high current VAL-U-LOK products supporting up to 13A. The legacy VAL-U-LOK connector is secured with an optional terminal position assurance (TPA) device, and, for simpler assembly, TE also offers VAL-U-LOK PLUS connectors with an integrated TPA. PCB headers are available in right-angle or vertical configurations with optional drain holes and polarization pegs.
