AMP DUOPLUG Power Connector System
Technical Specification
- Make: TE Connectivity
- Model code: AMP DUOPLUG Power Connector System
- Available Configurations: Wire-to-Board
- Wire Size: 22-18 AWG
- Centerline / Pitch: 2.5, 5 mm
AMP DUOPLUG power connectors are insulation displacement contact (IDC) connectors for safe, fast production of wire harnesses in printed circuit board (PCB) applications. The connectors meet the RAST 2.5 standard and include configurations for direct PCB edge mounting and indirect mounting with RAST 2.5 PCB headers. They feature a twisted contact that secures the connection with high contact force, while maintaining a low mating force. Color and keying meeting RAST standards are implemented by optional marking and cutting units in TE’s custom tooling. These tooling products can support termination of complex wire harness layouts, as well as mass wire termination. Applications for these connectors include home appliances and HVAC systems.
