For centuries the only cold used for food storage was represented by snow and ice. The compression refrigerators that take advantage of the gas ability to absorb heat from the environment when it evaporates were invented in 1875, but their use has spread only during the post-war period.

Industrial, commercial, with secondary fluid or by direct expansion, ventilated, static, etc., the coldness has faced over the decades a development never seen before.

High-quality standards

Standard Tech has always been searching for high-quality standards and already knows that 'cold is not always the same'. Specialized in refrigerated processing of 'naked' food and in the air conditioning of clean rooms, their engineers are trained to design the best cold for every use.

Purified by an absolute filtration for clean rooms with the proper humidity rate, done to have a fast and aggressive seasoning for blast chillers, noiseless and without currents for conditioning, the cold changes qualities according to the last task of cooling down.

In February 2022, Standard Tech will celebrate its 30th year dedicated to the high-quality cold made in Italy.
