Sensaphone® introduces a new combination temperature, humidity and CO2 sensor that measures and provides real-time values to any Sensaphone monitoring device that accepts a 4-20 mA or MODBUS signal. When the sensor registers that a monitored condition falls outside of the programmed range, the system sends an alert with the current value to the operator.

This convenient new sensor utilizes a highly accurate and reliable dual-channel non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor to monitor CO2, a precision thermistor to monitor temperature, and a thermoset polymer-based capacitance sensor to measure humidity levels.

Running multiple combination sensors

User-friendly features include an LCD display for configuring the sensor and viewing readings. Each combination sensor is encapsulated in a pod that users can easily replace in the field. It is protected from moisture by an IP65-rated enclosure that operators can either mount on a wall or suspend from the ceiling.

Depending on the type of Sensaphone monitoring system, operators can choose either a 4-20 mA or MODBUS-compatible combination sensor and select to receive alerts via phone call, email or text message. For MODBUS systems, users can run multiple combination sensors in parallel.
