During the meeting of the Product Group ‘Liquid Chilling Packages and Heat Pumps’ (PG-LCP-HP) on 21 November 2023 in Milan, Italy, the group participants re-elected Henk Kranenberg as Chairperson and Mariano Covolo as Vice-Chairperson.

Henk Kranenberg

Henk Kranenberg, Senior Manager at Daikin NV, is an expert in heating ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building environment, who has more than 30 years of experience in industrial management, business development, and operations management.

He will Chair the Product Group for the next two years. He will be supported by the re-elected Vice-Chairperson Mariano Covolo, Knowledge Manager and MEHITS Ambassador at Mitsubishi Electronic Hydronics and IT Cooling Systems S.p.A., who has extensive knowledge in central technology management, sales and marketing of IT cooling systems.

Mariano Covolo, Vice-Chairperson of PG-LCP-HP, stated, “The increasing number of people from companies and national associations participating in this Product Group is clear evidence of the awareness of challenges and opportunities coming not only from efficiency but in general from many eco-friendly requirements.”

He adds, “I encourage everyone to regularly consult the documents available on the wide Eurovent website and then, during the Product Group meetings, openly share questions and opinions related to the topics on the agenda."

Mariano Covolo continues, "With the amazing experience of our Chairperson Henk and the Eurovent staff, I look forward to properly synthesizing the participants’ voices we wander to transmit to the European Commission and its consultants.”

The Eurovent Product Group ‘Liquid Chilling Packages and Heat Pumps’ deals with advocacy on European and national legislation concerning liquid chilling packages and heat pumps. It is also engaged with the development of EN, ISO, and Eurovent standards, the promotion of the industry and its export initiatives, and diminishing unfair trade barriers inside and outside Europe.
