GE Current, a Daintree company, the digital engine for intelligent environments announced the appointment of Manish Bhandari to Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He succeeds Randall Swift, a partner at parent company American Industrial Partners (AIP), who has served as the interim president and CEO.

Bhandari’s appointment caps Current’s April 2019 acquisition by AIP. Bhandari, selected to apply his extensive tenure within the digital-ready energy and infrastructure management space, comes to Current from Emerson, where he, most recently, was the group president for the discrete & industrial portfolio of businesses.
He previously served as president of Chloride Industrial Power, a global business of Emerson based in France that provided industrial backup power, and commercial emergency lighting solutions.

Mr. Bhandari holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Jodhpur-India, an MBA in Human Resources from Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI) of India, and an MBA from Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) of France.
