Facilio, an AI-driven property operations platform provider with customers across 12 countries, opened a new office space in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With plans to ramp up its headcount in the next year, the SaaS company moved to a 40,000 sq ft space in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Prabhu Ramachandran, CEO & Co-Founder - Facilio said, "We currently manage 10,000+ buildings spread across commercial offices, healthcare, hospitality & retail across the globe. We are aiming to double this by the end of 2023 and tap into the $30 billion real estate-focused operations software market. Our products are particularly relevant during an economic downturn as they directly impact real estate owners and operators’ business revenue by lowering operational & energy costs, increasing net asset value, and de-risking operational liability."
AI-based CMMS platform
Prabhu Ramachandran added: "We will continue to make strategic hires across the product marketing and engineering functions here, and are looking to strengthen our enterprise sales teams in the Middle East, US, UK, Europe & Australian markets."
The building will also be equipped with energy management systems to reduce energy
Facilio’s new office building, developed by Indiqube, has a fully automated facility management system in place. The building is equipped with the company’s own flagship offering, an AI-based CMMS platform that provides a seamless visitor management system, workplace management, floor visualization, inventory management and smart meeting room booking to optimize efficiencies and productivity.
As part of the phase 2 implementation, the building will also be equipped with energy management systems to reduce energy spend and achieve a net zero carbon footprint.
Traditional and siloed software landscape
Facilio’s suite of products allows real estate owners to aggregate building data, optimize performance, and control portfolio operations - all from one place. The company remotely deploys the property operations software platform in large real estate enterprises across the globe.
Replacing the traditional and siloed software landscape that has frustrated the market for decades, the solution aggregates data from multiple, disconnected systems across portfolios into an integrated, cloud-based platform, helping operations & maintenance (O&M) teams become data-driven and agile.
Facilio currently has a distributed workforce of 200 employees with offices in New York, London, Australia, Dubai & Singapore apart from Chennai. The company’s new HQ features a 2000 sq ft cafeteria, break-out rooms, and a vibrant community space for hosting events, all intended to provide a first-class workplace experience for its employees.
