Eurovent Middle East, the region’s industry association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, will host an expert’s meet & greet on Monday, 20 February 2023 at the Radisson in Riyadh.
Set alongside the HVAC&R Expo Saudi, the event will feature expert presentations on minimum requirements for Air Handling Units and Air Filtration, recommendations for the selection of the best equipment and critical aspects of providing a safe air environment to hospitals and operating theatres.
Cooling and ventilation systems
The pandemic has brought new urgency to the problem of contaminated indoor air and environments, especially in health care settings and in high occupancy buildings. Often overlooked or sacrificed in favor of low energy consumption, Indoor Air Quality needs to be understood as essential function of any HVAC system.
High IAQ and energy efficiency do not contradict, but rather complement each other

The keynotes of the event include:
- How to select AHUs based on minimum requirements as stipulated by the Eurovent Industry Recommendation 6/18.
- How to specify and select air filters according to ISO16890 ensuring filtration as well as energy efficiencies.
- How to identify the best equipment for hot and humid climates using Eurovent Certified Performance.
- Hospitals and operating theatres: critical requirements of the HVAC system.
