Carrier recently welcomed key UK commercial HVAC customers to Red Bull Racing’s global headquarters in Milton Keynes for its 2022 Customer Conference. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation, providing healthy, safe, sustainable, intelligent buildings and cold chain solutions.

The event provided an immersive Formula 1™ experience. It gave customers the opportunity to learn more about Carrier’s innovative solutions, the company’s plan to help customers become carbon neutral, and how it is investing in different segments, including data centers, commercial heating, and healthy buildings across the UK and Europe.

Carrier AquaSnap® 30RQ range of air source heat pumps will help customers lower their carbon emissions

Carrier’s heat pumps, along with CIAT's advanced handling units, were showcased at the Red Bull factory and gave customers insight into how these solutions will help support decarbonization in the UK.

Carrier AquaSnap® 30RQ range of air source heat pumps will play a role in helping customers lower their carbon emissions. This highly efficient heat pump operates on lower global warming potential (GWP) R-32 refrigerant, delivering a lower carbon footprint and reduced energy running costs.

Customers also learned about Carrier’s AquaForce® 61XWH water-source heat pump on R-32 refrigerant. This unit is ideal for heat networks and can harness multiple renewable energy sources, such as waste heat from data centers and ground source water, to provide water temperatures of up to 85°C.

CIAT's ClimaCIAT® range of air handling units is designed to meet a wide range of applications with industry-leading build classifications. It enhances indoor air quality for buildings in any sector, including commercial, industrial, and healthcare, while operating efficiently.

During the event, Didier Genois, Vice President and General Manager, of Carrier Commercial HVAC Europe, gave more details about Carrier’s 2030 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) goals of reducing customers’ carbon footprint by more than 1 gigaton.

Neil Hitching, Northern Europe Marketing Director, Commercial HVAC, Carrier outlined Carrier’s plans to invest in segments across Europe, including data centers.

He explained that Carrier was well positioned to support customers in this rapidly developing segment by ensuring they have solutions for complete data center optimization while reducing both energy consumption and carbon footprint.
