ITH, or Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero, is a Spanish innovation center whose mission is to promote the use of new technologies in the hotel and tourism industry to improve the profitability, quality, and efficiency of facilities.
With this goal in mind and the idea of facilitating the development of BIM installation projects for the hotel sector, the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), together with its strategic partners - Bosch, Italsan, and Wilo worked with BIM&CO to develop the ITH BIM HOTEL platform.
Centralizing information
This is a specific platform for centralizing BIM families belonging to the following categories: air conditioning, plumbing, ACS, and PCI, for any refurbishment project or new construction of installations in the hotel environment. ITH also offers complementary families to design a complete installation.
This platform makes it possible to centralize the information for the design of mechanical installations in a single site, with the possibility of searching by brands or by category of elements, visualizing the object in 3D before downloading it, and also consulting its parameters and values online without having to open the native file.
Online technical support
Users will be able to consult the documentary information associated with each element, from technical data sheets to price breakdowns.
In addition, online technical support has been integrated to guide and advise the designer on the choice of equipment and its usability within the BIM model.
