Together with Messe Frankfurt, the BDH is organizing the Technology and Energy Forum as a digital format as part of the ISH. The special show will again be sponsored by a total of 14 industry associations from the sector and associations from the energy sector.
The Zukunft Gas initiative supports the special show as its main partner, while the Institute for Heat and Mobility (IWO) is a gold partner. The State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Andreas Feicht, is the patron.
gets ready for Green Deal
The technology and energy forum provides information on the current status quo of the heating market. The focus is on the EU's Green Deal and the associated tightening of climate targets. By the year 2030, CO 2 emissions should not fall by 40% as previously planned, but by at least 55%.
"Anyone who sets such ambitious climate targets cannot ignore the largest energy consumption sector in Germany and Europe, the heating market," emphasizes BDH Managing Director Andreas Lücke. Around a third of the European final energy consumption is used for heating and hot water preparation alone. Around 60% of the 125 million heating systems in Europe are technically outdated
At the same time, around 60% of the 125 million heating systems in Europe are technically outdated. “Without tapping into the high CO 2-The Green Deal targets cannot be achieved with the potential for reduction in the building sector. Both the heating industry and our partners from the energy industry will be showing technical and commercial solutions for CO 2 reduction at the digital ISH,” emphasizes BDH President Uwe Glock.
live panels and multimedia offerings
Specifically, the partners of the Technology and Energy Forum provide information on the current status of heating technology, from efficient condensing technology (also as H 2 -ready), heat pumps and wood central heating to hybrid heating systems, as well as CHP systems and fuel cell heating.
The energy sources and their contributions to the decarbonization of the heating market are also discussed. This applies, for example, to green and blue hydrogen, biomethane as well as green electricity and solar energy, but also to liquid CO 2 -reduced energy sources such as e-fuels. Finally, the CO 2 -neutral wood energy also plays an important role.
A multimedia offer awaits visitors to the Technology and Energy Forum. In addition to recorded expert interviews and extensive background material from the 14 partner associations, there are also daily live streams with high-ranking representatives from politics.
