Baltimore Aircoil Company, a pioneer in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of evaporative cooling products, becomes an official BridgeBuilding Supporter (sponsor) of the 2022 Eurovent Summit in Antalya, Turkey.

Honoring significant legends

It is going to share its expertise during this year’s Summit, taking place from 25 to 28 October. BAC will also be a partner of the Summit’s ‘Legends of Eurovent’ event, to celebrate the ongoing generation change within the industry and honor significant legends that have contributed to its development.

Mr. David Jacobs, Vice President & Managing Director EMEIA and a member of the Eurovent Board of Directors will open the night by sharing his and BAC’s story within Eurovent. He stated in this respect: “Baltimore Aircoil Company has always been a forerunner in Eurovent certification programs. Already in 1989, BAC participated in the first discussions for cooling tower certification and finally the cooling tower certification program was launched in 1997. 25 years after this milestone for our cooling tower industry, I'm pleased to be part of the celebration of Eurovent's history at the Summit in Antalya.”

Environmentally responsible industry

This year’s EUROVENTSUMMIT is co-organized with ISKID, the Turkish Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association. It aims at #BuildingBridges between manufacturers and consultants, planners, installers, trade associations, and policymakers, between Europe, the East, and beyond, towards more sustainable and circular products, and towards more socially and environmentally responsible industry.

Highlights include the Eurovent Innovation/HUB, a rich seminar program focused on both ventilation and refrigeration organized by ISKID and TTMD (Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers) in English and Turkish, and an interactive policy panel on the first night, which will build bridges between many different stakeholders in the industry.
