At the SMART Automation in Linz, E+E Elektronik will be presenting a comprehensive portfolio of measuring devices for industrial automation and process monitoring at booth DC-413.

The product range includes flow meters for compressed air and gases, dew point sensors, CO₂ measuring devices as well as humidity and temperature transmitters for demanding industrial applications.

On the exhibition grounds, trade fair visitors can view the E+E calibration bus and find out about the calibration services of the accredited E+E calibration center.

Flow meter

With the thermal flow meters from E+E Elektronik, compressed air consumption can be precisely measured and monitored. The devices enable reliable leak detection and thus make a significant contribution to reducing costs.

Various designs are suitable for use in pipelines from DN15 to DN700. Innovative assembly concepts ensure quick and safe installation in the pipeline, with the appropriate accessories even without interrupting the flow in the compressed air line. The flow meters can also be used to measure the consumption of technical gases such as oxygen, nitrogen or CO₂.

Compact sensors

Due to the compact design, the sensors are also ideally suited for OEM applications

With the E+E dew point sensors, the dew point temperature and thus the risk of condensation in the compressed air network can be monitored.

Due to the compact design, the sensors are also ideally suited for OEM applications, for example for refrigeration dryers. The auto-calibration ensures high accuracy in the entire measuring range from -60…60 °C Td.

Dew point and humidity modules

The new EE1950 dew point and EE1900 humidity measuring modules are specially optimized for use in climate chambers from -70 °C to 180 °C.

A heating function ensures long-term stable measurements under chemical stress and high humidity conditions. Sensors made of stainless steel or plastic (PPS), different cable lengths, and two board sizes ensure a high level of flexibility when integrating into the application.

Robust CO₂ sensors

E+E Elektronik offers two new CO₂ sensors for particularly demanding measurement tasks

With the EE8915 and the EE872, E+E Elektronik offers two new CO₂ sensors for particularly demanding measurement tasks. The EE8915 reliably measures the CO₂ concentration in harsh environments and meets all relevant railway standards.

Active pressure and temperature compensation using built-in sensors ensures particularly high CO₂ measurement accuracy, regardless of temperature, altitude, or weather conditions. By meeting the strict railway standards, the EE8915 can also be used for demanding process and climate control tasks.

With the EE872 , a heated, replaceable CO₂ sensor module ensures excellent measurement performance in harsh environments and in high-humidity areas. The robust IP65 stainless steel or plastic housing and the exchangeable PTFE filter cap optimally protect the sensor from contamination. With a special, catalytic filter cap, the CO₂ sensor is also suitable for applications with periodic H2O2 sterilization.

High-end humidity

The EE310 measures relative humidity and temperature and calculates other humidity-related parameters such as dew point or frost point temperature.

The transmitter has a robust IP65 polycarbonate or stainless steel housing and is suitable for an application range of -40…180 °C. The device is available as a wall or duct version and with a remote sensor. A multifunctional display with data logger function offers an optimal overview of the measurement task and allows direct access to the device settings.

The measured values are available on two analog outputs (current / voltage) and via an optional Modbus RTU or Ethernet interface. Two freely configurable relay outputs can be used for control purposes or as an alarm output.

Accredited meter calibration

The mobile E+E calibration service carries out accredited calibrations of humidity

The E+E calibration laboratory, accredited according to EN ISO/IEC 17025, offers manufacturer-independent measuring device calibrations for humidity, dew point, temperature, pressure, air speed, airflow, and CO₂.

The mobile E+E calibration service also carries out accredited calibrations of humidity and temperature measuring devices directly on-site.

On the exhibition grounds, visitors can use the E+E calibration bus to find out about the calibration services offered and take a detailed look at the "calibration laboratory on four wheels".
