GE Appliances (GEA), a Haier company, has named Anne Rushing as the President and Senior Plant Manager of Monogram Refrigeration LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary in Selmer, Tennessee, USA that manufactures Monogram® and CAFÉ™ refrigerators and Zoneline® air conditioners.
Before assuming her new role, Anne Rushing served as the plant’s Quality Leader. She started her career as a Test Engineer and has held a variety of roles of increasing scope and responsibility over her 30-years in manufacturing. Anne Rushing worked in the aerospace, automotive, and appliance industries, prior to joining GE Appliances (GEA) four years ago.

While at Maytag, Anne Rushing’s dedication to lean manufacturing principles earned her and her team the prestigious Shingo prize, an award for a lean plant transformation given yearly to a plant, which has distinguished itself as the best example of lean transformation in North America.
Throughout her career, she has kept the same practices in mind - working together as a team to deliver a common goal and learning and growing as individuals and a team.
New Monogram and CAFÉ brand refrigerators
Anne Rushing is currently leading the startup of an assembly line at the plant that will produce a new line-up of fully integrated refrigerators with bottom freezers across the Monogram and CAFÉ brands. Available in both French and Single-Door configurations, these models sit flush with cabinetry and feature articulating hinges to create a high-end, modern look.
Additionally, they boast a middle convertible drawer with multiple temperature settings and almost three cubic feet of capacity that can be customized based on what needs to be stored—from cold beverages to meat to ice cream.
