Adcock has been contracted by Parkway to design a climate control solution for a proposed new 30,000 sq ft four-storey center at Haverhill Research Park, comprising high specification offices and dry R&D accommodation, together with conference and meetings rooms, training facilities, a ‘work-hub’ area and coffee shop/café with an external break out area.

Heat recovery system

The installation works are due to start in April. The design engineers have chosen of a ducted VRF heat recovery system to serve all common areas. The fresh air requirement is going to be supplied via a roof mounted air handling unit with heater battery.

Adcock has worked on multiple projects for Parkway Construction over the last 15 years. Their expertise in new technology installation and design allows them to provide a solution that would provide the most efficient, low carbon system to serve the various sizes of space on the site.
