The 10th power-generating unit at the Baihetan hydropower station in southwest China has been in commercial operation since unit 7, developed by DEC, launched on August 2.
The 16 GW mega power plant is installed with eight units supplied by DEC. Once fully operated, it will generate around 62,443 GWh of clean power per year, cutting standard coal consumption by 19.68 million tons and CO2 emissions by 51.6 million tons.
